Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kibo — the Kibo Android application (com.pastelify.kibo) and the kibokid.com website (together, the "Service") — operated by PT. Pastelify Digital Teknologi ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create a family account. Children may use Kibo only through a child profile created, connected, and supervised by a parent within that parent's family. The parent is responsible for the child's use of the Service.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including child profiles and their PINs.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. The Service

Kibo lets parents create tasks and rewards; children complete tasks, earn stars, streaks, and badges, and redeem stars for rewards from a family wishlist.

• Stars, streaks, and badges have no monetary value. They are game elements only — they cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, or transferred.
• Real-world rewards are commitments between parent and child. We are not a party to them, and we do not guarantee that any reward will be delivered or fulfilled.
• We may add, change, or remove features of the Service as it evolves.

5. Plans and billing

Kibo is currently free. We may introduce a paid Premium plan (around USD 4.9 per month) offering additional capacity and features, billed through Google Play. Prices and plan contents may change; we will announce changes before they affect you, and paid features will always be clearly marked before any purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content;
• attempt to access other families' data or probe, disable, or disrupt the Service;
• reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
• misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a child.

7. Your content

You (and your children, under your supervision) may upload content such as check-in photos, names, and reward descriptions. You keep ownership of this content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it only within your family and only to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content your family uploads.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the Kibo name, the Kibo mascot, badge artwork, design, and software — belongs to PT. Pastelify Digital Teknologi or its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights to it except the personal, non-transferable right to use the app as intended.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security of the Service, with notice where practicable.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, PT. Pastelify Digital Teknologi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (currently zero for free accounts). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — write to us at [email protected]. Unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Indonesia.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
